Welcome to the Instinct release notes page! These notes will provide information on the functionality of new features released this month:
Updating the DYMO Printer Name
✅ DYMO Connection Improvements
The DYMO Printers Admin screen in Instinct is still available for Admin users, however, the ability to manually add/remove printers from this screen has been disabled. Any printers currently available through the DYMO Web Service will now display in this list automatically, allowing you to easily see which label printers Instinct can print to.

Instinct will continue to remember the last printer used and if that printer is no longer available (lost connection, unplugged, etc.), Instinct will default to the first printer it currently sees.
✅ Updating the DYMO Printer Name
Your DYMO printer name can still be renamed but instead of performing this in Instinct, it is now updated within your ‘Printers and scanners’ settings on your Windows or Mac device. Once renamed within your operating system settings, the printer name will also update in Instinct.

💡 Important note: The DYMO Web Service still needs to be running on your workstation in order to print from Instinct.
