Welcome to the Instinct release notes page! These notes will provide information on the functionality of new features released this month.

You can now pay off the full balance of all patient visits associated with a client account by:
- Navigating to the Financials screen of any Client Account
- Clicking Payments
- Selecting Account Payoff within the Payments side panel
The Account Payoff panel displays any visit balances in descending order by check-in date and time. Recording a Payment applies it across all patient visit balances, starting with the oldest visit. Before recording the transaction, the Payments screen will display a preview of how the payment will be divided across the outstanding visit balances and what the new Account Balance total will be as shown below:
📝 Please Note: Account Payoff will not show any visits that contain a credit. However, the total Account Balance amount does take into account any credits applied across the Account Ledger.

Appointments – Pre-fill Reason For Visit When Checking In A Patient
When checking in a patient from an existing appointment, the Reason For Visit from the scheduled appointment will now auto-populate into the Check-in Patient Form.
📝 Please note: This functionality is not currently available when checking in a patient via the Patient Registration Screen or the Rapid Registration Screen.
Rapid Registration – Service Drop Down Field
The Rapid Registration module has been updated to include a drop down Service field.
The ‘Service’ field is optional and if this is filled out, the selected service will be automatically associated to the patient’s visit.
Admin – New Integration Section
An ‘Integrations’ section has been added to the Admin screen allowing you to easily enter your specific IDEXX-VetConnect credentials. Please note that in order to view the Integrations section, hospital administrators must add the Admin Integration permission shown below to your preferred User Role and have our IDEXX Integration enabled by contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Analytics – Provider Summary Report
Our Provider Summary Report has been updated to exclude non-commission products in the Average Invoice, % Total, Collected, Uncollected, and Total Revenue Columns!
Products can be marked as non-commission by going into the Products section within Admin and turning on Exclude from Commission.
