π Analytics – Report Permission Update
Individual Analytic Report Permissions are now available!
Administrative Users can now assign Permissions to User Roles, allowing access to individual Analytic Reports without having access to all Analytic Reports. Simply create new User Roles in the Admin area under Staff, for various access to Analytic Reports.
Some examples you could create are as follows:
- Analytics – EOD (End of Day) – Includes access to Transaction Details Report, Transaction Summary Report, and Accounts Receivable Summary Report
- Analytics – Inventory – Includes access to the Controlled Substance Report
- Analytics – Doctors – Includes access to the Incomplete Chart Report and Patient Census Report

Example of what the User with the Analytics – EOD Role would see in the Analytic Section:

New Permissions for access to Individual Analytic Reports are:
- Analytics Accounts Receivable Summary Report
- Analytics Controlled Substance Report
- Analytics Incomplete Charts Report
- Analytics Order summary Report
- Analytics Patient Census Report
- Analytics Practice Summary Report
- Analytics Provider Summary Report
- Analytics Referrer Details Report
- Analytics Revenue Details Report
- Analytics Taxes Discount Report
- Analytics Transaction Details Report
- Analytics Transaction Summary Report
π‘ Please note: Scheduled Analytic Reports are not affected by these permissions and any emails on file will still receive all Scheduled Analytics Reports.
Check out our Analytics Careville guide for more information on how to schedule, generate, and download reports. π
β Task List Improvement
You can now associate a Patient to a Task!

Once a Patient is linked, clicking anywhere on the patient name will take you to the Patient’s Chart.

βοΈ Snippets – Admin Search Field
You can now search for Snippets by name using the search field in the upper right hand corner of the Snippets Admin screen.

π² Invoice Set Date/Time When Adding a Line Item
You now have the ability to set the date/time when adding an Invoice line item by clicking on the time field. Previously, you could only adjust the date/time after it was added to the Invoice.

π‘ Please Note: The date/time picker still defaults to βnowβ when initially added to the Invoice. Adding a group to the Invoice will also default the time of each item to “now”, and you can edit the date/time individually after the group has been added to the Invoice.
ποΈVeterinary License Numbers & Credentials
You will now be able to add Veterinary License numbers and credentials to staff member information.
For staff with the Doctor class, the following fields will display:
- Degree(s) / Certification
- Vet State License #
- DEA License #
- State Controlled Substances License

Staff members with the Staff class will now have one field displayed – Degree(s) / Certification.

Check out our Admin Careville guide for more information on how to add and edit staff members. π
π΅ Payment Permission
We have a new Transaction Update permission that will allow you to change the date and time on any Account Payment transaction (more on this below).

π‘ Please Note: This will not be added to any staff members or roles automatically. You will need to manually add this for any applicable roles.
Need a refresher on how to update user roles and permissions? Check out our Careville guide for more information!
π Update Transactions
Users with the Transaction Update permission shown above will be able to change the date/time on the Payment Panel when applying a new Payment, or change the date/time using the 3-dot-menu option next to each posted transaction.

π‘ Please Note: Gravity customers using the Clover Device will not be able to change the date/time on transactions.
For all non-gravity transactions, a new Date field will now display on the payments Panel. The date will default to the current date/time – Now. When creating a new transaction, you can either keep the default or change it to any date or time in the past. Future dates and times are not supported.

Reports – Date and Time Revisions
If a transaction date/time is revised, all analytical reports will reflect the new information.
For example: If you generate a weekly Transaction Detail Report that has a Credit Card Payment for $100 on 3/8/22 at 1:00 PM and then change the date and time to 3/2/22 at 12:00 PM, the weekly report for March 7th will no longer display the transaction.
π Patient Transfer Updates
Our patient transfer feature has been updated to only allow transfers for checked-out patients.
