Pinned Patient Panel Warnings
We have improved patient safety by adding banners to the top of pinned panels (Chart, Comm Log, and RX) to prevent confusion when navigating between patients:
No warning is displayed when viewing patient A’s pinned panel while in patient A’s chart.
A grey warning will appear when viewing patient A’s pinned panel but navigating away from patient A’s chart to other areas of Instinct.
A yellow warning will display when viewing patient A’s pinned panel in patient B’s chart.
Multiple rVet/rHosp
We have added the ability to associate multiple rHosps & rVets to a patient!
At the bottom of the Charts screen in the Shareville modal, each rHosp associated to the patient will be listed, and you can resend the Shareville portal link by clicking the email icon next to the particular rHosp that has a designated Shareville email:
In the Patient Info Bar, patients with multiple rHosps will see each rHosp listed.
rVet/rHosp Sharing toggle
You can now easily see if a chart is shared on the Shareville portal without opening the document with a new rVet column.
- Shared items will display an orange dot
- Documents that have not been shared will display a gray dot
- ‘In Progress’ documents will not display a dot until they’ve been Completed
- Documents set to ‘Never Allow’ for rVet sharing in Chart Admin will show a gray dot, with the rVet Sharing Toggle disabled.
We’ve also improved the 3-dot menu text to include Toggle rVet Sharing On/Off so you can know which way you are flipping the toggle:
Please note: Asteris integrated imaging reports currently cannot be shared and will not display a dot.
rVet Transfer & Delete
In the 3-dot menu next to the rVet on the rHosp’s page in the Referrers tab, we’ve also added the ability to Transfer rVets between rHosps, and Delete rVets from rHosps.
Updated Referrer Information in Patient Census and Deceased Patient Reports
The Referrers column in these reports now list all rVets and rHosps associated with the patient.
Test Accounts Labels
Test Accounts now have a Test Account label on the Financials and Accounts pages, the Account Ledger, and the create Appointment panel.
In the future we’ll be giving you the ability to make and manage Test Accounts!
Chart Media Preview
Introducing a media preview feature for uploads and attachments. This functionality will work on both the patient attachments section as well as the patient visit section.
Clicking on the uploaded document will open the file in the media preview for a quick look at the document contents.
If you’d like to open the file outside of Instinct, simply click on the download 🔽 icon in the open preview window.
Using the 3-dot menu next to the document you can also View or Download.
Left ◀ and right ▶ icons help you effortlessly navigate through the uploaded attachments in patient attachments or all of the uploaded documents in the individual visit.
Please note: Audio and video file preview is supported in the Chrome Browser only, and Dicom files are not supported for media preview.
