Visually accelerate communication with Emojis🐱😃🐶!
How? 🤔
In any text box in Instinct emojis can be used by simply using the following shortcuts:
- PCs with Windows 10 or greater: windows key + semicolon or windows key + period (depending on your device)
- Macs: control + command + spacebar.

Identify patients not yet assigned to a doctor more easily:

Get creative with patient locations that aren’t a typical ward – ie getting a bath:
Belongings/Notes
Since the Belongings/Notes section is not a part of the medical record, emojis can be used here too! A money emoji could help communicate that a new deposit needs to be collected:
Code Status
You can also add emojis into the Code Status abbreviation so that it shows up when the TX View is toggled ‘on’:
